Do I need to be holding ETH to participate in staking?
Yes, in order to stake ETH you first need to deposit or buy ETH.
Can I unstake / exit ETH Staking?
Assets can be exited from ETH Staking and withdrawn to your Cake DeFi wallet easily and at any time.
For staked ETH, exit staking prior to the Ethereum network Shanghai upgrade is now possible via csETH - a token tradable on the open market using DeFiChain's DEX.
Cake DeFi offers you the option of receiving the assets back in ETH (deposited directly into your Cake account) or csETH (sent to any supported address).

What is csETH?
A csETH (Cake-staked ETH) is a DeFiChain Standard Token that represents ETH locked up in the Staking nodes, including a user’s right to redeem staked ETH on Cake DeFi. The csETH-ETH liquidity pool facilitates the withdrawal or sale of staked ETH on the DeFiChain DEX.
How long do I need to wait after staking to begin earning rewards?
Rewards are earned after staking with the next reward cycle. The first rewards can be seen after 12-24 hours.
